Shaheen posses over ten years of extensive experience in the legal profession specializing in Corporate Commercial Law; Intellectual Property, Litigation and Arbitration.

Prior to joining Ishraq, Shaheen held the position of Vice President - Legal affairs with Lals Group of Companies, Dubai. Where he was extensively involved in commercial, contractual and legal aspects of a board spectrum of International Joint Ventures, Leasing & Real Estate Development, Communications and Media. He was associated with International Firms in connection with commercial ventures and operating agreements for joint operations and specializes in the field of Trademarks and Trademark Registration related legal issues.

Shaheen is a Bachelor Degree Law graduate from the University of Mangalore in India and has worked as an Advocate and Legal Consultant in India where he is a Member of the Bar Association.
